Atlanta Jazz Festival 2022

It's more or less a fact that you can't go wrong with free jazz music. Produced by the city's Office of Cultural Affairs, the Atlanta Jazz Festival is a month-long celebration featuring both established and up-and-coming acts in the genre, culminating Memorial Day weekend with performances in Piedmont Park. From International jazz superstars to local artists looking to make a name for themselves, the fest might be one of the best free tickets in any city.

About the Atlanta Jazz Festival

Following a successful 2021 festival that got postponed to Labor Day weekend, we are expecting a return to the traditional festival schedule. May is the time for jazz in Atlanta, a month full of creative music culminating in one of the greatest sources of pride for the city. Heralded as one of the country's largest jazz festivals with free admission, the Atlanta Jazz Festival takes place during the Memorial Day weekend in Piedmont Park.

The 2020 Atlanta Jazz Festival was cancelled due to COVID. The 2021 festival was held September 5-6th in Piedmont Park.
