A truly diverse crowd displays itself in the retro, comfy furnishings. The baristas are well trained. The Wi-Fi is free and you don’t have to engage in genteel battle for an electrical outlet: There are plenty. You can hear live music now and then. You can buy a book for a buck. And, hey, it’s in funkadelic East Atlanta.

Innovox serves Batdorf and Bronson drip coffee and espresso, which comes de- or hyper-caffeinated. Stop by for a cup of regular coffee if you're on the go, a shot of espresso if you're "really" on the go or a serving of the "Liquid Crack house blend if you're on the go at the speed of light. Other coffee options include cappuccino, cafe latte, cafe mocha, cafe Americano, macchiato and a bevy of frozen concoctions. Go 'round the world with Aurora's vast selection - your choice of Costa Rican, Ethiopian Harrar, Sumatra or French coffees, to name just a few. That's not including blends and organic options. "I've had coffee and espresso drinks in every fucking state and in parts of Europe and there's nothing that tastes like it or gives me quite the same caffeine high. Aurora, which also has locations in Virginia-Highland and on Piedmont at Monroe, is slightly seedy and steely, and nobody's coffee comes close if you like dark roasts. Truly, our mornings sucked until we discovered Aurora's La Minita beans for home brewing. Now we greet every day with a big smile!
