Sarah came to Atlanta History Center as a consultant in 2011, which led to her current position as Vice President of Goizueta Gardens and Living Collections. Atlanta History Center’s Goizueta Gardens are 33-acres of cultivated gardens and preserved native forest that immerse visitors in Atlanta’s history, reflecting the changing cultural influences that have affected the way people have utilized the land.
Sarah studied at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, the University of Reading, England, and the UK’s Garden Design School. She interned at the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University, and worked five years as Curator of the Herbaceous Plants and Outdoor Gardens at The New York Botanical Garden.
Sarah has written for numerous publications, been featured on Martha Stewart Radio, the Canadian Broadcast Channel, and the GardenSmart TV series.
