From the venue:

Adam Klein & The Wild Fires

An Atlanta-via-Athens, Georgia-based singer/songwriter and troubadour, Adam Klein’s music touches on Americana, rustic country folk, folk-rock, and West African Mande music. He performs in a variety of settings– either solo/duo, with his band, Adam Klein & The Wild Fires, or occasionally with his American roots-meets-West-African-roots project under his Peace Corps name in Mali, Lassine Kouyate.

Russell Cook & the Sweet Teeth

Russell Cook & the Sweet Teeth is a two-guitar and drums juke-joint style trio. Featuring the sparkling guitar work of Scotty Knight and ace drummer Jeremy Clark, the Sweet Teeth play new songs, traditional songs, and draw from the extensive catalog of music written for the Little Country Giants. They try to push the music to see where it will go, using songs as the structure but staying open to improvisation and playing in the moment. Russell Cook & the Sweet Teeth use sharp-edged songwriting to open up a vein of electrified Americana and country blues.
